Haha I had some money help from my Granny :3 Insanely lucky and unexpected!

I feel like I've been wasting Easter, even though I've been staring at my work. I was happy with magic flute, went to see Sue and Jamie before Easter and now I'm redoing my characters and AUGH.

Aw but Guitar Hero is amazing! It might be considered a valid excuse for not having work >.>.....

I WAS doing character images like postcards for Magic Flute, and now I seem to be doing a scene reminiscent of gothic painting only with up to date characters, which sounds fun in theory but I'm floundering around...idk how to portray the Queen of the Night in this way yet and Pamina keeps changing. All I know is I want Tamino as a skinny Indie boy because he seems to fit that somehow in my brain. Emo might fit fainting at snakes more but I want him to look...male.

I don't know anymore! XD

My Endangered Island one is okay, I'm just having character fun with it, since the flute is being awkward. >(

Cool. I'd like to see how it shapes up. I've only seen videos of it in action. I can't afford one right now but I've been thinking about upgrading my intuos 2 A5 for the intuos 3 A4.

Ashamed to say I've been wasting most of my easter. I have a backlog of projects I haven't completed yet, plus the new ones;the magic flute and endangered island, both of which I'm struggling on; actually I haven't started the last one yet. So instead of actually tackling them I've been playing guitar hero instead; one of my housemates left it in the living room...

I'm trying to draw two mock comic pages for the magic flute one, of the part where the ladies give tamino and papageno their instruments, except I'm swapping them for a microphone and a guitar. Just to be awkward. So far I've done a few sketched out panels of the first page, which I'm happy with. The rest is driving me crazy.
